Uttar Pradesh has been witnessing a great change from the very first day Adityanath Yogi took charge as Chief Minister of the state. Many things have been initiated, Many more changes are about to come and each and everything is burning Mughal saltanat fanboys like never before. Though they are opposing each and every step of Uttar Pradesh Chief minister Adityanath Yogi led Government and till now they all are unsuccessful and the way Yogi is working and handling his critics, He will continue to be unstoppable.
There is a huge debate going on changing of names of cities and places in Uttar Pradesh by the state government and people are outraging over it. Yogi Adityanath had been a member of parliament from consecutive five terms and he has renamed many places in Gorakhpur Which were changed by Mughals during their time. After becoming Chief minister he is resuming this process and renaming places, Railway stations, Cities etc.
Question is why he is doing this and what is the need of changing names of places and cities? Recently Uttar Pradesh government proposed changing the name of Mughalsarai Railway station to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Station and central government too approved the proposal. Recently, Uttar Pradesh government urges to rename Allahabad to Prayagraj, and yesterday after Diwali celebrations, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said Faizabad will be renamed to Ayodhya Dham.
Overall there is no obstacle for Yogi Government doing these simple things, But people have questions in their mind which should be answered. Yogi himself Answered all these Questions during Uttar Pradesh polls campaign. Some might have missed it but arguments given by Yogi Adityanath were straight and to the point and satisfactory to some extent.
In a debate pre-elections, Yogi was interviewed by famous reporter Ajit Anjum, He was Angry and was trying to lash out Yogi over changing of names of places in Gorakhpur. He said How can we believe you in favour of development? You have forcefully changed the name of Ali Nagar to Arya Nagar, Miyanpur to Mayapur, Urdu Bazaar to Hindi Bazaar. Yogi Aditynath calmly said: Your information is incomplete, We’ve not only changed above but also changed (reinstated)/Renamed Humayunpur to Hanumanpur, Islampur to Ishwarpur… we’ve done it and we’ll do it more if required...
Along with this Journalist tried maligning him of being Communal and selective against a religion and in favour of a particular religion, answered appropriately.
